

About Dr. Rolison
Cortie "C.J." Rolison, IV, DO
Dr. Rolison is an alumnus of the University
of Georgia where he recieved undergraduate
degrees in both Music and Biology. He then
completed medical school at the Phildelphia
College of Osteopathic Medicine's Georgia
Campus in Suwanee.

After medical school, he completed his family
medicine residency at AnMed Health in
Anderson, SC. He most recently trained at
the University of Kentucky for his primary care sports medicine fellowship. During his fellowship, Dr. Rolison covered athletes from the University of Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky University, area high schools and recreational athletes. He also received advanced training in sports ultrasound and is now happy to provide in-office ultrasound guided injections and procedures.

As well, Dr. Rolison has given presentations locally and at national conferences in Florida, Texas and Massachusetts. He has also helped write and edit a chapter on Sports Nephrology and Urology for Sports Medicine: Study Guide and Review for Boards, 2nd ed.
​
As Dr. Rolison is Board Certified in Family Medicine in addition to his Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine, he can treat the musculoskeletal and general medical concerns of his athletes, their families, and weekend warriors in a "one-stop shop."

Dr. Rolison also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the AU-UGA Medical Partnership in Athens, GA, and the Medical College of Georgia's Department of Family Medicine, Augusta, GA.

Primary Care Sports Medicine

Dr. Rolison practices a blend of sports medicine, non-operative orthopedics, and family medicine with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group. With this blend, he is pleased to offer a comprehensive approach to his patients, athletes, and their families by providing a “one-stop shop” for both their musculoskeletal injury or general medical concern (coughs, colds, etc).
At his office, there is onsite imaging (x-ray and ultrasound) and Dr. Rolison can provide a wide array of treatments and procedures; specifically ultrasound guided injections and tendon procedures.
